Cancellation Policy

To provide the best service to our clients, Niagara Osteopathy requires at least 24 hours notice for changes or cancellations to appointments.

If you cancel within 24 hours or you completely miss your appointment without cancelling, you may be charged the full amount of the session, or if you have a gift certificate, it may be used as payment.

Reason: If there is 24 hours notice then it is possible to fill your time slot with another client. As a courtesy, we will try to email or text message you to remind you of your appointment, if you have provided that contact information. However, we are not responsible if these automated reminders are unsuccessful.

Covid-19 Policies

  1. Arrival: Please wait in your car until your appointment time. If you are early you may be asked to wait as our practitioner is completing all disinfection protocols. Please come to the front door at your appointment time and the practitioner will let you in. Please sanitize your hands when you enter.

  2. Masks: The government requires masks to be worn indoors so the practitioner will be wearing a mask during the entirety of the appointment. Please wear a procedural mask (paper masks often blue on one side come in a box. Cloth masks are not recommended) to protect us. You can purchase a mask at the office for $1 if necessary. Public Health recommends you wear your mask during treatment to reduce the risk to your therapist. Please wear your mask during treatment.  By booking an appointment you agree to this mask policy.

  3. Covid-19 Screening: Please cancel your appointment with at least 24 hrs notice if you:

    • have a cough, difficulty breathing or fever (37.8 degrees or higher) or other covid-19 symptoms that are new and unusual to you.

    • have come in contact with someone with covid-19 or similar symptoms in the last 14 days without wearing appropriate PPE or been in contact with someone awaiting covid-19 test results.

    • have traveled outside Canada in the last 14 days or are awaiting personal covid-19 test results.

When you arrive for your appointment we are required to screen you again to make sure your health has not changed.

  4. Additional Personal: Please do not bring anyone without an appointment into the office. If you must, they too must wear a mask, be screened upon arrival and stay in the room with you.

  5. Disinfection Protocol: Proper hygiene and cleaning/sanitation protocols have always been a priority with Niagara Osteopathy, but now protocols have been enhanced to include all surfaces in the treatment room and common areas both for your safety and ours.

  6. Initial Assessment: Please print and fill out the intake form from our website and bring it to your appointment.

  7. By booking this appointment you agree to the Covid-19 Policies and to the Cancellation Policy.
